Design approval policy
Approval is the moment your design becomes a physical product. Here is exactly what it means.
What we check automatically
Before approval is offered, every design is preflighted: trim and bleed geometry, 300 DPI effective resolution, CMYK conversion, text inside the 0.125 in safe margin, minimum type size, and contrast between text and background.
What you confirm
That every word is spelled correctly, that your phone number, email address, website and any QR destination are correct and live, and that the layout shown in the proof is the layout you want printed on both sides.
Artwork lock
On approval the design is locked and versioned. Any further change requires a new refinement round and, if production has started, a new order.
Colour expectations
Your proof is displayed in RGB on a backlit screen. Printed cards are CMYK ink on paper. Deep blacks, fluorescents and bright blues shift most; this variance is expected.
Rights
Once your order is paid you hold full commercial rights to the approved artwork, and your press files are archived so reorders match exactly.
